First Mother's Day as a Mommy

Happy Mother's Day!

What a special day this is for me. I can't tell you how long I prayed for you to come into my life. I prayed for the chance to rock you to sleep-to tell you stories-sing Jesus loves you and whisper I love you in your ear. When I was pregnant with you, I would sit and think of what you were going to look like. I never thought in a million years that I would have a son as handsome and as perfect as you. Your sweet smile makes me melt-I love it when you hum yourself to sleep and bury your face in my chest. I love it when you watch those chubby hands of yours-that always manage to get in your mouth no matter what. I love watching you in the mirror as I drive down the road-as you look out the window from those sweet innocent eyes. I pray that nothing/no one will harm you. I pray that you will be strong and grow into a Godly man as your daddy has become. I pray that God will use you to do amazing things in your life. I pray that one day you can understand that your mother loves you more than any thing in this world. You have made me realize what life is all about-what my purpose is here on this earth. And that is to be your mother-the best mother and to teach you right from wrong and good from bad. I will do anything for you, Braden. I love you and I am honored to be your mother!!! I love you more than anything and pray for you every day!
